Originally from Bombay, India, I migrated to Western Australia with my family at the age of two. Drawing and playing the piano have been my creative outlets from a young age. I found painting later in life, alongside the experience of motherhood.

I started painting in acrylics in 2021 and switched to oils in 2025, enjoying the punchy colours and the slow & textured qualities of oil paints. I am grateful for two incredible Perth artists who have guided and supported my progress along the way.

Painting has become a space for deeper reflection on how I interpret my world: the people and objects around me, my evolving sense of self, and ideas of home and place.
